Stockholmsutställningen 1930 var modernismens genombrott i Sverige och början på en guldålder för svensk arkitektur som uppmärksammats alltmer, också internationellt. Allt revs efter utställningssommaren och dokumentationen i ritningar och foton är knapphändig. Studenter på Chalmers har gjort ett detektivarbete och med stor precision rekonstruerat de viktigaste byggnaderna i modeller i skala 1:50. De presenteras tillsammans med originalfoton och med parallella texter på engelska och svenska.

The Stockholm Exhibition 1930 of Arts and Crafts and Home Industries and the manifesto Acceptera, published the following year by the exhibition organizers, mark the breakthrough of Modern Architecture in Sweden as well as in other Nordic countries. Despite its enormous success with more than four million visitors, the architecture of the Stockholm Exhibition has been studied surprisingly little in detail and its buildings are poorly documented.  In order to reconstruct its architecture, rediscover its qualities and bring it to life, in 2014 and 2015 master students at Chalmers Department of Architecture undertook to reconstruct the pavilions in the form of models.
